Many of you know Patrick and I were trekking around Nepal and Northern India ‘playing’ for 4 months last year. Playing? Of course! But we were also working on a book together. (more on that later.) Those four months were like riding an India roller coaster while being on a scavenger hunt. So FULL at every moment, the wind in our hair, our senses maxed out, our stomaches turning, and trying to keep our eyes wide open at the hundreds, thousands, millions of other wide eyes staring back at us. Oh, and laughing all the way. We LOVED it. So without further ado…

Meet Mata Prasad, a clay cup wallah in Assi Ghat, Benares, whose name means “gift of the Mother.” We visited Mata Prasad at his home and interviewed him for our book while he magically spinned his cups and his grandkids danced around him. We were wowed–I think you will be, too.
