Happy new year. It’s good to be home after a fun visit with family. And after a week of bitter -20 nights, it is a sunny and ‘hot’ 40 degrees today–warm enough that I don’t have to think about freezing as I walk with Oso. And no eyelash-icicles. It is nice looking back at the year and honoring all that has happened. Giving thanks for the many blessings. Remembering friends who are gone but feeling them still in our hearts. Starting fresh, and feeling excited about plans and intentions and the unknown. We are super positive about 2008. Feels like it’s going to be a big year. I wish you all a year full of beauty and love and laughter and adventures!

(a few bits of wisdom from the Osho Zen Tarot)

“There was no danger for the seed, the seed could have survived for millennia, but for the sprout many are the dangers. But the sprout starts towards the unknown, towards the sun, towards the source of light, not knowing where, not knowing why. Great is the cross to be carried, but a dream possesses the seed and the seed moves.”–Dang Dang Doko Dang Ch. 4

“It makes no difference what particular form your creativity takes. The important thing is to be open to what wants to be expressed through you. Remember that we don’t possess our creations; they do not belong to us. True creativity arises from a union with the divine, with the mystical and the unknowable. Then it is both a joy for the creator and a blessing to others.”–Osho Zen Tarot

“To accept the challenge of the unknown is the only way to grow.”
